The Mayor and Town Council of mountain Lake park is accepting bid proposals for snow removal of alleys and Cul-de-sacs located in Mountain Lake Park.

List of areas to be plowed and Hold Harmless Agreement can be obtained at the Town hall at 1007 Allegheny Drive, Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Maintenance of these alleys and cul-de-sacs will be required if three or more inches of snow has fallen, ice or if windy conditions exist. In most cases work must start not later than 6:00 a.m. Alleys and cul-de-sacs must be plowed and treated as needed with sand or # 8 gravel (NO SALT CAN BE USED ON ALLEYS OR CUL-DE-SACS).

The succesful bidder must have a truck not over one ton and a "V" snowplow blade. A Holf Harmless Agreement must be properly executed and evidence of $ 1,000,000.00 General Liability Insurance Policy provided.

Failure to provide any of the required information may result in the bid being rejected.

Sealed bids with "Alleys and Cul-de-sacs" marked on the outside of the envelope must be received at the Mountain Lake Park Town Hall, located at 1007 Alleghany Drive, Mountain Lake Park, Maryland, not later than 4:00 p.m., on September 2, 2004.

The Mayor and Town Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
