Regular Meeting # March 26, 2003
Present were Mayor Martin, Councilmembers Callis, Damon, Learey and Since!!. Also present were Mr. and Mrs. Wooddell, Shirley Munford, Betsy Whittlesey, Mike Mullen, County Coordinator, Ken Witte, Melissa Wolfe and Judy Paugh, Clerk Treasurer.
Meeting called to order at 6:00 P.M.
Pledge of Allegiance.
All meetings are recorded.
Minutes: Motion by Councilman Sincell to approve the minutes. Seconded by Councilman Damon. All approved. Motion carried.
Financial Report: Motion by Councilman Callis to approve the financial reports for March, 2003. Seconded by Councilman Learey. All approved. Motion carried.
Budget Adjustments: Motion by Councilman Learey to approve the budget adjustments for March, 2003. Seconded by Councilman Damon. All approved. Motion carried.
Bids for replacement of furnace in Town Hall: Motion by Councilman Sincell to accept the bid from Western Maryland Tin Shop in the amount of $3,170.25. Seconded by Councilman Learey. All approved. Motion carried.
Appointment to Mtn. Lake Park Election Board: Motion by Councilman Callis to re-appoint Kitty Thompson to the Mountain Lake Park of Election Board. Seconded by Councilman Damon. All approved. Motion carried.
Application for Liquor License C.P Martin's Store: Motion by Councilman Learey to send a letter from the Mayor and Town Council to the Liquor Control Board opposing the approval of the liquor license for on premise sales for this establishment. Seconded by Councilman Sincell. All approved. Motion carried.
Preparation of a Dangerous Animal Ordinance: Councilmen Damon and Sincell will be preparing a Dangerous Animal Ordinance for Mountain Lake Park.
Reimbursement for President's Day Storm: Mayor Martin informed the Council that the Town of Mountain Lake Park will be reimbursed for 75% of the expenses for a 48 hour period spend on snow removal during February 14th -17th snow storm.
Motion by Councilman Callis to adjourn Council meeting. Seconded by Councilman Sincell. All approved. Motion carried.
