Open Museum at The Ticket Office
Spruce and G Streets, Mtn. Lake Park. 2:00 pm-4:00 pm. Events are held the third Sunday of every month. Built in 1900 and currently restored as a museum, the "Ticket Office" served as the Mountain Lake Park Association office and tickets for events were sold there for the events held in the Bashford Amphitheater. 49th Annual Garrett County Fishing Contest
Co-sponsored by Deep Creek Outfitters Hardware and Bait House and the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce. Weekly winners receive a certificate; awards given for the season's largest catches. Experience the "Victorian" past of Mountain Lake park. Visit the "Ticket Office/Museum" (Rt. 135 & G St.) to use a tape or CD to guide you on the walking/driving tour of the Historic Areas. On Friday, Pleasant Valley Dream Rides will provide a buggy tour and members of The Historic Association will be available in the "Ticket Office" to answer questions. Fall refreshments will be served Sunday.
