Broadford Lake Park
Broadford Lake Park is a municipal park located just outside of Mountain Lake Park, Maryland. Canoes, sailboards, rowers, and electric trollers are invited to the 140 acres of flat water. Pets are welcome in designated areas. The lake is regularly stocked with trout, crappie, bass, and catfish. Amenities include a boat launch and docks, picnic areas, sandy swimming beach and lake house. Access to the lake and facilities begin March 31 and run through November 15. The hours of operation during this time are 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. The charge at the entrance gate is $2.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $3.00 a car on weekends. During the winter the gates are locked, but access is permitted following the posted guidelines. Call 301-334-9222 for more information.

Mountain Lake Park Tennis Courts
The Mountain Lake Park Tennis Club is located off Route 135 in Mtn. Lake Park adjacent Town Hall. The facility has four clay courts which are open during daylight hours with a fee. The courts play host to The Western Maryland Tennis Championships. The event is held on the first weekend of August on the clay courts of the Mountain Lake Park Tennis Club. Wooddell Park
Wooddell Park is located along Allegany Drive in Mountain Lake Park. The park offers a playground for the children and a relaxing atmosphere for adults. The park is a great place to visit, to entertain the kids or shoot some hoops. The next time you need a break come and check out Wooddell Park. To get to the park follow Maryland 135 to Alleghany Drive and make a right (town hall and tennis courts visible from the road), stay left at fork and continue to follow the road for about 3/4 mile to Wooddell Park on right.
Veterans Park
Veterans Park is located north of Maryland Route 135. The park offers a playground, pavilion, basketball courts, and other ammenities. Come and join in the fun while you let the kids play and have a picnic on the lawn or in the pavilion. To get to Veterans Park follow MD Route 135 to I street (at sign to Broadford Park) make left, then make first right and follow signs to Veterans Park.
